Point Cloud to BIM Services – Another domain conquered!

At Tesla, we have always strived to keep up with the ever-evolving technology! With a fair reputation in BIM with our 3D BIM Services, 4D and 5D BIM Services, we have also successfully delivered Point Cloud to BIM Services with efficiency and ease.
To illuminate on the technology briefly- the scanners expel high density of laser beams for the purpose of positional measurement. The resulting point cloud data demonstrates the physical setting that is being scanned. This data with the use of a variety of specialist CAD and BIM software tools is used to generate accurate Architectural, Structural and MEP models that reflect the present state of the building.
Scan to BIM Services serves to create precise models for as-built requisites and also for renovations and retrofit as well as refurbishment work.

The client provided us the point cloud data in .rcp format.
Our team developed renderings for the model as well for presentation. Below images show the rendered outputs from different views against the input – point cloud and the Revit model developed therefrom.
