Parametric Revit Families of components used in Water purification machines, UK

Project Objective

The objective of this project was to develop an Orca System which is used in places like hospitals and offices that kills bacteria in the water and makes safe drinking water available. The task is to create Parametric Revit Families for a water treatment company in London. These Revit Families can be categorized into “Plumbing Category of Revit Families”.

Parametric Revit Families and assemblies for 50 water purifier parts.

Project Summary

This project consisted on 3 phases which included executing pilot run for 3 assemblies/families in Revit, completion of 30 similar modules and then another 20 modules. We had to basically create the Revit Families of the components used in the water purification machine. The independent assemblies were put on the client’s website for sale after which according to the customer’s specifications we were awarded to create more Revit Families. The client has connected with us through a referral and was contented with our excellence in precision and communication of details.

Challenges

We had to work taking pdf specifications and images as inputs. We were not provided with AutoCAD inputs or clear dimension which made it challenging for us to execute the Revit Families Creation project for the client.

The client required the dispatch in short turnaround time.

Initially we had to execute a pilot run of 3 Revit Families with accuracy and precision which awarded us another 50 modules.
